We're in the homestretch of 2020, but that doesn't mean we can let our guard down regarding Covid-19, unfortunately.
Many of the city buildings have closed to the public due to increasing numbers of those infected with the virus, however Hamilton Ice Arena will continue to remain open for Parks & Rec sessions, Hockey and Club ice. Therefore, as a Club, it's our responsibility to help keep each other safe by continuing to follow the guidelines in place and to please ALWAYS wear a mask while at the rink, even when on the ice! We will keep our LCSC family updated with any restrictions that are made, but please do your part with wearing a mask, keeping a safe distance and following the rules of the rink when entering and exiting! We appreciate your cooperation!
Fundraising Commitment:
Thank you to all who were able to meet either some or all of the required Fundraising Commitment! Along with the Donor Match, this has made a significant impact of the Fundraising Goal which was set at the beginning of the Club Season.
Any member who has not met the full $350 Fundraising Commitment, it is still the requirement of the Club season, regardless of how the year will end in response to Covid-19. This means if Club ice will be cancelled for any remainder of the rest of the season, all members will still be required to fulfill the $350 Commitment.
With that said, there are still a few ways you can earn money towards your Fundraising Commitment throughout the year:
Laura Jo's Cookies for Kids - This has been a great opportunity and has earned LCSC almost $300 so far this season! Please share this fundraiser with friends and family, especially with the holidays around the corner! Order some for those who you may not be able to be with, near or far. They deliver!
