Weekly Update: 1/12/20

The first week after a long holiday break seemed to last a lifetime! But here's to a quick week ahead and a fun weekend of figure skating to look forward to!


Let's start the week and new month of 2020 off with our Monthly $5 Gift Card Winner:

Dates To Remember:

Monday January 13th - Monthly Board Meeting 5:30pm at the rink.

All members are welcome to attend.

Sunday January 19th - Columbus Invitational

Monday January 20th - Test Session

MLK Jr Day - NO Club


Columbus Invitational:

LCSC is honored to be able to host this annual competition once again!

Please be sure to check the following SignUps so that you may help to make this event a successful one! We can't do it without your help!

We are also asking for any pre-packaged snack items (approx. 25) and 24 pack of bottled water (approx. 5) that we are able to sell at the snack table. Please drop these items off in the back of the concession area by Friday January 17th.


Volunteer Positions: There are still some spots left to help out during this event!


Fundraising:

if you haven't already or you would like to sell additional certificates, please contact Amy Streeval (sleepingin@comcast.net) to get your Crew Car Wash vouchers!

These will make awesome gifts for teachers and students and really anyone who likes a clean and shiny car! And don't forget to treat yourself! Such a simple way to say thank you, happy birthday, congratulations or just to make someone smile!


Ice Show:

The annual Ice Show - Musicals 'n Movies, is just around the corner and our coaches and Board members have been planning and casting for a great show that will be fun for everyone! The tentative cast list was posted, however, some changes are still being made. Any skater testing during the January 20th test session who is preparing to test for the solo requirements will be considered this part in the Show. Stay tuned for more details as they become available!

T-shirt order forms are available now and you can find them in skaters' mailboxes! We hope to get these ordered sooner in time for the show!


Quarterly Dues:

Don't forget to turn in your payments for the next quarterly dues. a $25 late fee will be added after the February 2nd due date. Please let us know if you have any questions about your invoice!
