Weekly Update: 2/9/20

I'm not sure if the Groundhog last week understood what an early Spring means, it has snowed all week!

Now that February is here, it's time to pick our Monthly Drawing Winner:

Congratulations Jiyun Shim! Enjoy $5 to treat yourself at Target/Starbucks!

Ice Show Parent Meeting Overview:

Volunteer Commitment - All Gold, Silver and Bronze members are required to fulfill a minimum commitment of 15 hours of volunteering. A Volunteer Hours Update will be available soon for all members in order to determine how many hours each member has yet to fulfill prior to the Ice Show.

Ice Show SignUps - It was our goal to have this ready after Friday’s meeting, however, it will take a little more time to finalize, so please stay tuned! We appreciate your patience! As a reminder, any family member can sign up for Volunteer spots; skaters, siblings, parents, grandparents, however, Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to work in the Concession Stand. All Volunteers who wish to assist with Locker Room Chaperones, must be SafeSport Certified, NO exceptions! Members can complete this training on the USFSA website by following this link and completing the step-by-step process.

Parents of children 14 years and younger may enter the Locker Room only to assist skaters with costume changes. Parents may not loiter or enter the Locker Room for any other reason. The assigned Chaperones may assist parents with other needs that require entrance to the Locker Rooms.

Fundraising Commitment - All Gold, Silver and Bronze members are required to raise $350 per Club member. A discount of 15% is offered for subsequent skaters per family. A Fundraising Update will be available soon for all members in order to determine how much each member is still required to raise prior to the Ice Show.

Sponsorship info will be available soon! This is a big part of being able to fulfill your Fundraising Commitment along with ticket sales.

Required Forms - All Gold, Silver and Bronze members are required to complete the following forms: LCSC Contracts and Agreements and Locker Room Waiver/Agreement. Please place completed forms in the LCSC Board mailbox.
